Technically, my advertising career began when I was 15, in the mailroom at W.B. Doner & Company in Southfield, Michigan.

When I was an English major at Hillsdale College, I won my first Detroit Caddy award for a radio campaign that I wrote and produced. Since then, I've created everything from paycheck stuffers to Super Bowl spots.

For 11 years, I played a key role as VP/ACD at BBDO Detroit, creating award-winning national Dodge car and truck advertising.

For another six years, I shuttled between Doner offices in Detroit and Toronto where, as Sr. VP/Creative Director, I oversaw all advertising for Mazda Canada.

I am now at Hudson-Rouge in Dearborn, Michigan, where I am the sole writer responsible for Lincoln 1:1 Marketing.

Along the way, I have been a CLIO finalist several times and have received honors from the Art Directors Club of New York, the New York Festivals, and the London International Film Festival. I've also earned Effie, Mobius, OBIE, and Detroit D-Show awards.
